About this title

"Once more reflects the passing of another aeromodelling year. Contents of this, the third Aeromodeller Annual are again completely new, and involve several changes in the light of public demand. The popular plan features are retained - in fact there are even more than in our last annual. New countries again appear, a notable newcomer being Japan, whilst more plans are available of the keen aeromodelling community of Yugoslavia. Russian clouds are lifted to some extent by the inclusion of two notable engine drawings from the other side of the iron curtain. For the first time correspondents at home and abroad have been invited to contribute under their own names, and thus we have features by such well-known figures as Just Van Hattum, Pop Wright, Per Weishaupt from overseas, and our own Ron Moulton, J. B. Knight, C. S. Rushbrooke, and Funf Taylor, writing in their own specialist fields. As usual we have endeavoured to cater for all tastes, with items for Wakefield, Power, Control Line, Team Racing, Radio Control, Sailplane, and Indoor enthusiasts. If some added prominence is given to the vastly popular A2 Nordic Sailplane Class, this reflects the present trend towards that interesting formula. Such regular features as the year's Contest Results, Engine Analysis, and British and International Records appear as usual. Packed with information in every field of aeromodelling, we are confident this year's Aeromodeller Annual will again enjoy an enthusiastic welcome."
