Modeling Behaviour: Boyhood, Engineering & the Model Airplane in American Culture - cover thumbnail

"Historians of technology have long been emboldened by the idea that things - from computers to automobiles and suburban kitchens - have a history and are worthy the attention of scholars interested in questions about how popular culture has expressed and shaped ideas about technology and society. Model airplanes, in this respect, prove no different."
